Fly from place to place in this 7-Day Namibia Highlights Fly-In is very close to the ultimate visit to Namibia in a week. Visit the game herds in the Etosha National Park, Namibia’s hidden “gems” at Twyfelfontein ending at the “sea of dunes” … the Namib Desert and amazing Sossusvlei area.

This suggested itinerary can be changed and areas added to make it even better … such as:

– Add the north west to visit traditional Himba tribes as well as desert adapted animals

– And/or the Swakopmund area and the Skeleton Coast

– Even better, add the Caprivi Strip area whether around Popa Falls or the Kwando River

– …. Many options available

 

 

Day 1 – 2                Etosha National Park

  • Guests will be met by their pilot at the Windhoek airport from where they fly north towards Etosha National Park
  • Transfer to the lodge for the evening
  • Fully inclusive of meals and activities
  • PM game drive included … if time permits (or AM of Day 3)
  • Etosha is one of Africa’s great game parks. With 114 species of mammal and 340 species of birds you are sure to see a great variety of wildlife on your safari
  • AM and PM game drives into the Etosha National Park and/or on Onguma Reserve … entry fees included.

 

Day 3 – 4                Damaraland / Twyfelfontein

  • Fly to Damaraland, the Twyfelfontein area
  • Dinner bed & breakfast included on Day 3. All meals included on Day 4
  • Damaraland features vast khaki plains, sheer rocky mountains and incredible desert-adapted wildlife. Explore the rugged land or sit back and enjoy the dramatic scenery
  • AM and PM activities include a visit to Namibia’s “open air museum’, the Twyfelfontein petroglyphs and bushman paintings, Burnt Mountain as well as the interesting Organ Pipes rock formations. To add, a river drive to look for the desert adapted elephants is included

 

Day 5                        Skeleton Coast / Namib Desert

  • Fly south over Damaraland to Swakopmund to re-fuel
  • Fully inclusive of meals and activities
  • Scenic flight along the Skeleton Coast and the Namib Dunes to the landing strip close to the Namib Naukluft Park – Road transfer to the lodge

 

Day 6                        Sossusvlei / Dead Pan / Dune 45

  • AM early morning rise for a light breakfast and then on to the beautiful Sossusvlei area where most of the morning is spent with hikes, dune photography, climb dune/s
  • Fully inclusive of meals and activities
  • PM after a rest, a late afternoon nature/dune drive is planned (Optional extra)

 

Day 7                        Windhoek

  • Fly back to the Windhoek Airport, over the Namib Naukluft Mountain range where this amazing trip will end
  • Pre and post accommodation with airport transfers can be arrange in Windhoek if necessary

  • £4,500 per person in off-peak season (1st January – 30th June)
  • £4,750 per person in peak season (1st July – 31st December)
