Kilimanjaro Climb

Machame Route

8 Days
Jan - Feb and Aug - Oct

Of the main routes used to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the Machame route is a popular path. This route has a nice steady altitude increase each day, allowing for a very high success rate of making it to the top. Unlike the gradual incline and hut accommodations found on the Marangu Route, the climbers on Machame hike steeper trails, for longer distances, while sleeping in tents, though there are no parts on the route that require any technical climbing skills.

Day 1    Weru Weru River Lodge

You will be met by your head guide and transferred from Moshi to the Machame Gate (approx 45mins drive).
