Canoeing The Okavango Delta

What better way than to explore the Okavango Delta than in a mokoro (a traditional canoe), the mokoro usually carries one or two passengers, while the boat-man stands at the stern using a long pole called a ‘ngashi’, to push the mokoro forward.

This excursion allows visitors to fully experience the sights and sounds of the Delta, peacefully gliding through the water without running the risk of scaring off animals affording some great photo moments and wildlife sightings.
