BEST TIME TO VISIT
WELCOME TO Djibouti
Djibouti is one of the smallest destinations to go and tour in Africa, it is also the most unknown. Djibouti sits on the edge of the Redsea and is a country full of culture and moving landscapes.
Lake Assal is the most visited site in Djibouti, this is the lowest land in Africa and third lowest on Earth. Lake Assal is a lake that sits 150 metres below sea level, here you can find lush forests and the waterfalls of Fored du Day and Bankaoule along with rare plants and animals.
Lac Abbe is another tour wonder in Djibouti, situated on the Djibouti-Ethiopia border. This is a large salt lake that sits on the exact spot were 3 tectonic plates meet. This is what creates the unusual geology in the area, and makes for a must see on our Djibouti trips.
