In the south, in the primary forest of Nyungwe, which covers an are of 970 km², it is circulated by impressive tracks, amid millenary trees, in the company of colonies of primates and pigeons. The jungle is known mainly for the variety of orchid species that it hosts, which number in the hundreds.
